A beautiful and very well kept 2 story Western style home with a large 2 car garage and spacious child friendly garden and lawn. The exterior was completely re-finished in 2005 and the interior neatly kept and again tastefully finished. All of the bedrooms have large walk-in closets. The upstairs also features a high efficiency stove, which is almost never needed, and seperate bathroom. The garage has a very generous workspace area with shelves for tools and a large work bench along with ample room for additional storage which includes elevated shelves/platforms between the rafter. There is an additonal fenced off area for storage behind the garage as well. The lot is large for a standard home in Hokkaido, 122 tsubo. Being a corner lot on a triangular street pattern you really only share one boundary line and only periodically see the neighbour. The other lot is vacant but also blocked off from view by the garage. The street across from the front of the house is grass space with community farm plots behind a tree line that can be leased out, so you always have a nice green and open view to the front, and basically all around for that matter. And of course no problems getting rid of snow in the winter. But even with the tree line boulevards I needed more green so brought in several dozen additional trees of various varieties to green up the yard and add additonal privacy. This is a great place for a family with children or those wishing for a slower quieter life than the hassle of Sapporo and the surrounding communities and yet still only 30 minutes from downtown and several ski hills.
